The case, without spoilers
Her last message is only half the story.
Nora Vale has vanished from Rookwood House. A message on your screen seems to place her there at 11:47. Your partner has a different set of records. Before you can decide what happened, you need to work out which details belong together.
One detective reads personal messages and examines the scene. The other works through access records and the house’s systems. Neither collection tells the whole story. Read details aloud, compare times and challenge each other’s assumptions before you agree on a deduction.
This short introductory case teaches you how HalfEvidence works across three chapters. There is no countdown, and hints are available if you get stuck. Both detectives confirm each answer; a correct shared finale awards each of you 4 XP the first time you solve this story.
