The case, without spoilers
Two sets of keys. One apartment. One promise too many.
Warsaw Praga, November 2026. Marta Kulesza arrives to collect the keys to the home she has spent years saving for. Tomasz Nowak is already reaching for the same door with his own set. Inside lies the inspector who promised to put things right. Both buyers have genuine payment receipts. Their agent has a live broadcast that appears to place her somewhere else.
One detective follows the building: witnesses, working keys, room descriptions and the routes people could take. The other compares reservation promises, payments and the complete broadcast. Put the physical place beside the story sold about it. A genuine key, a truthful witness and a real video can still leave you with the wrong conclusion.
The Spare Key is a medium-difficulty mystery for two, with eight chapters and thirty-two private evidence cards. Allow around 45–60 minutes, with no countdown. Every relevant contract term, video detail and route is provided in text; no knowledge of Polish property law or audio is needed. Play in English or Polish and earn 6 XP each for your first shared solution.
